Let it be

久しぶりにBeatlesの曲を聞きました。
昔、Beatlesのスタジオ録音版を探しにCDショップを探しまわったことがあったのですが、今はyoutubeで簡単に聞けます。
ほんと便利な時代です。
さて、今日は英語の勉強も兼ねて代表的なBeatlesの曲を紹介。
Beatles解散間近に作られた、
「Let it be」
この曲は歌詞もシンプルでテンポもゆっくりなので、小中学生でも覚えられるでしょう。
私も、中学の頃、歌詞を辞書で日本語に訳したのを覚えています。

当時訳したすべての日本語訳は覚えていませんが、すぐ思い出されるのは、

”苦しみ悩んでいるとき、聖母マリアが現われて、尊い言葉をかけて下さる、なすがままに”
